For over 6 years Victrola has purchased coffee directly from this farm in the Huehuetenango region and each year it is one of our most anticipated arrivals. This year’s coffee is a big and balanced cup, with notes of hazelnut, cocoa, and macadamia nuts. Orange and passionfruit are highlighted in the acidity and accentuate a long, bittersweet chocolate finish. Since 1963, three generations of the Martinez family have put love into their coffee. Now in charge of the farm, Edwin Martinez Jr. applies his expertise to produce one of the finest Guatemalan coffees year after year. The farm follows many sustainable farming methods, including using natural fertilizers from their small flock of sheep and composting coffee pulp rather than putting it directly into the local water sources. Additionally, the coffee is planted among native shade trees such as Inga and Grevillea, benefiting both the coffee trees and migratory birds. We are ecstatic to have this wonderful coffee on our menu once again. Each year, the Finca Vista Hermosa impresses us in new ways and we always look forward to sharing it with you all! Retail Price: $22/lb or $16.50/ 12oz bag online or in the cafes
