Hourly Wage: $20.76/HR + Tips (tips can range from $5-$13/hour based upon season and location)

The Barista is responsible for preparing exceptional coffee beverages, delivering warm and professional customer service, and supporting daily cafe operations in a clean, organized, and positive environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Passion for Coffee & People and providing excellent customer service 
  • Dial In espresso and brewed coffee offerings to parameters and to taste
  • Steam milk to uniform micro-foam consistency and present beverages with exceptional care
  • Stay familiar and up to date with our coffees and offerings
  • Work with other talented baristas in a fast-paced environment where efficiency, fluid communication, and team dynamics are critical to success. 
  • Cleaning, washing dishes, mop floors, count money, clean milk drains, clean restroom and all essential opening and closing duties. 
  • Participate in ongoing coffee trainings, staff cuppings, and locations meetings
  • Follow food safety and handling procedures 
  • Stock and rotate inventory as needed
  • Communicate clearly and directly with management about any issues that arise 
  • Support change and thrive in an adaptable environment 
  • Follow posted schedules and arrive on time to scheduled shifts 
 
Qualifications:
  • Prefer candidates with 2 or more years of specialty coffee barista experience 
  • Passion for coffee 
  • Dependable and a team player
  • Professional and strong communication skills 
  • Enthusiasm to connect with customers and provide great coffee
