We heart Single Origin Espresso. And think you should too! It's official, I tried it this morning myself, the Ethiopia Yirgacheffe Koke is on the bar at both the Roastery and the 15th Ave Cafe. What's it like, you ask? In a Macchiato, the shot tasted rich, like drinking cocoa, with a subtle balanced acidity. When I had it as a straight shot the tangy (almost kumquot like), citrusy notes jumped out mellowed by the chocolaty bottom. What should you do? Well, I am not one to say, but my guess is whichever way you decide to go, in a Macchiato or in a straight shot you will enjoy the Single Origin Ethiopia Yirgacheffe Koke. I know I did.
