Sean Hurley - July Artist @ Victrola on 15th Ave - art at Victrola Coffee & Art 411 15th Avenue East, Seattle, WA 98112 |
|
Sean Hurley's new paintings are highly stylized, deeply patterned evocations
of his meditations on what it means to be lost, and the ways we each try to
be found. They grew out of a highly turbulent series of episodes in the
painter's life, a period over which he had to re-examine virtually
everything he thought he knew about himself and his life.

BrieAnna - music @ V1 Thurs, June 11 8-10pm - music at Victrola Coffee & Art 411 15th Avenue East, Seattle, WA 98112 |
|
BrieAnna Eklund was raised in Seattle, WA. After a very noisy growing up and years
of singing and piano lessons, BrieAnna chose to go to Belmont University in
Nashville, TN to be a Commercial Vocal Performance major. Although her interest and
gift for songwriting had already started to form earlier in life, BrieAnna really
began to hone this talent during her time at Belmont, spending hours in practice
rooms, performing in many showcases and gaining the respect of her peers and
professors alike for her catchy melodies and meaningful lyrics, not to mention her
beautiful and expressive voice. BrieAnna now plays shows frequently in the state of
Michigan where she currently resides. Her husband, Kyle, joins her on percussion.
